Holding Decay

Another in architecture, this one at the beach though!
Barmouth to be exact, in wales! Its a structure that holds a pipe running from a small stream though the wave barriers and into the sea, have had good fun by the pipe' over the years.
In recent times it has sufferd general decaying damage, like the fact no water comes out the end but instead out a whole about 1ft from the end. The wooden structure in this photograph is plagued with see weed, muscles and other wild life!
This photo was aimed to be very semetrical, no photoshopping on the framing or tilt of the shot, this is how it was! I stopped the F1.4 up to F2.8 to sharpen it up and have more in focus; I then used photoshop to further sharpen and add the low colour effect!
I chose this one over the F1.4 version cause the F1.4 was rather 'soft' compared to how harsh this looks in places.
